Do you feel that losing weight is impossible?
Maybe you feel that you aren’t blessed with “good genes.” You look in the mirror, and you feel that there is something missing. It’s not that you hate your body; it’s that you think you could look better. Your appearance makes you self-conscious, and you become not confident about your image.
If you’re like me, you want to have a good looking body. You want to show up at your high-school reunion and make all the people there turn their heads to get a second look at you. You imagine you hear their compliments about how great you look!
You’ve spent a good amount of time becoming beautiful on the inside. Now it’s time that you also become beautiful on the outside. How you look outside should represent how you feel inside …
The problem is when you hit 40, looking good can be a challenge. Especially if you’ve been putting on the pounds, slowly gaining every year since you were 20. Losing weight felt easier when you were younger – but now it feels almost impossible to lose it and keep it off.
The fat on your body makes you uncomfortable, and it drives you crazy.
What can you do to start looking young again?
Fitness for Weight Loss reports that over 22 million American women own a gym membership. But up to 85% of these women visit the gym only six times a year. That is barely enough time to make a good change in your appearance.
The average gym membership fee is $58 according to Statistic Brain. That means many women spend almost $700 each year, and they only use the gym once every two months. That’s more than $100 each time you visit the gym – too high a price if you ask me!
Must you spend hundreds of dollars on a gym membership only to get minimal results?
One lesson I have learned in life is that most of the results you want are determined by a small number of important factors. This rule was discovered by an Italian economist named Pareto, and he called this rule the Pareto Principle. You can find this principle working in all areas of our life: a good example is that 80% of the money you make comes from 20% of the important work you do.
This rule also applies to losing weight: 80% of weight loss success is determined by 20% of the foods you eat and exercises you do. If you know what the most important nutrition and exercise factors are, you can lose maximum weight while working out on a minimal schedule.
Imagine what you would do if you could save 80% of your money or save 80% of your time. Would that extra time give you more freedom in your life to do more satisfying activities, like spending time with your partner and loved ones? I think the answer is a resounding yes.
But the question remains: What are the most important factors that determine 80% of weight loss?
How to lose weight with a simple approach
Steve and Becky Holman follow the Pareto Principle when they help people lose weight. The Steve Holman F4X system is based on this principle, and they explain it in their book, Old School New Body.
The book is a short and simple read that contains all the exercises, foods, and action plan you must do if you want to lose maximum weight with minimum effort. The Old School New Body exercises are simple enough that you can start doing it within 2-3 hours of reading the book.
The point of the system is to workout in short periods but with heavy intensity. The heavy intensity will maximize the calories you burn and muscles you train. I have written a F4X training system review for you to read if you want.
If you have spent dozens of hours and hundreds of dollars at the gym but you haven’t got results yet, then it’s worth it to take a look at the F4X system. This system will help you find the most important exercises to do to get results fast. It will help you save time and money – and also frustration. Steve’s training program can be very helpful to help you lose weight and make yourself feel 10 years younger.
